Our Chevron represents momentum and empowerment. It's symbol of positivity, progress and moving forward. The Chevron is born of a combination of the line work found in The Prince's Trust logo and a chevron icon.

Chevron direction

Regardless of chevron tier used. The chevron must point forwards (to the right) or upwards.

Please do not mix the direction of the chevron - all chevrons must point in the same direction either forwards or upwards.

We are able to reverse the way the line work is positioned.

We have a tier system to show how and where we apply our Chevron.

Tier 1 Core Chevron

Core Chevron (fig 01 and 02)

This is Chevron for:

Digital platforms as the line work in the Chevron can still be seen in small spaces.
Generally across our communications.

Large scale Core Chevron (fig 03)

This is Chevron is for:

Large size so that the detail can be seen.
Creating backgrounds behind text
Cropping into.

We are able to use different colour ways when it comes to applying the Chevron.

Core Chevron in Application

For general communication, we only use 3 Chevrons at a time.

01 - We use our large scale crop as a background.

02 - We can then add our smaller Chevron as a sign off.

03 - Our main Core Chevron is used within headlines.

Tier 2 Active Chevron

Our Active Chevron uses more line work to build its form.

Active Chevron (fig 01 and 02)

This Chevron is used for:

Digital platforms as the line work in the Chevron can still be seen in small spaces.
Generally across our communications.

Large scale Active Chevron (fig 03)

Large size so that the detail can be seen.
Creating backgrounds behind text
Cropping into.

How do we use the Active Chevron?

The Chevron can be used as:

in combination with the Core Chevron,

a supporting background texture,

a supporting pattern.

Tier 3 Dynamic Chevron

Our Dynamic chevron increases the amount of line work used to create a three-dimensional effect. This chevron must only be used by cropping parts of it or using it large scale for patterns.

We ONLY use the Tier 3 Chevron as a background or decorative device that can be cropped into.

It is never used as a stand alone logo Chevron or be used in a repeated pattern of more than four chevrons on a row or side by side with other chevrons.

This chevron is best used by cropping into it or showing in large full scale.

Dynamic chevron in Application

There are three versions of the Dynamic Chevron.

01. The full effect with the combination of the Chevron and exterior lines which can be used as a simple background only. We can then invert the Chevron within the background to display the form.

02. Remove the exterior lines to form a stand alone Chevron. Fig 01 + 02 we can see we follow the same rules where our Chevron can be used horizontally as well.

Same as the previous tiers we can use our colour palette with a white lined Chevron.

Our colour backgrounds can change.

We can change the colour of the line work for use in a background pattern only.
